The college values cooperation and communications with other colleges and universities, as well as enterprises and corporations home and abroad, having established long-term collaboration with Tung's Group of Hong Kong, being one of  the maritime institutions with which Hong Kong Shipowners Association has set up communications and cooperative network, and being the member of International Maritime Lecturers' Association (IMLA) and the Association of Maritime Education and Training institutions in Asia-Pacific (AMETIAP). Taking the Maritime Education Consultative Conference as a useful platform, the college has established stable co-operation with over 30 well-known shipping companies home and abroad.
